Zero-sugar, zero-calorie organic green tea kombucha with natural ginger and lemon flavours. Extended fermentation drives out all residual sugar, leaving a sharper and more austere version of the standard Ginger and Lemon.

About This Drink

GUTsy Captain Zero Ginger and Lemon runs the fermentation long enough for the bacteria to consume every gram of cane sugar before the natural ginger and lemon flavours are added. The result is noticeably more assertive than the standard version. The aroma is dry ginger, lemon peel, and a pronounced tartness from the fermented tea base. Without residual sugar to soften things, the ginger has more bite on the palate and the lemon is crisper and more acidic. The fermented tea character is more prominent too, adding an earthy depth that works well with the spice. The finish is dry, warming, and quite long, with ginger heat fading slowly. Among the Zero range this is the most characterful option. It is probably most interesting to drinkers who already know they like kombucha and want the full experience without sugar.

Organic Kombucha (filtered water, organic cane sugar*, organic green tea 0.4%, organic stevia leaves, kombucha cultures), Bacillus coagulans, natural ginger flavor, natural lemon flavor. *All sugar is eliminated during fermentation.
