GUTsy Captain Summer Peach uses a clean green tea fermentation base with natural peach flavour added post-fermentation. The peach character is soft and ripe rather than sharp, which gives this variant a quieter quality compared to the spiced or more acidic options elsewhere in the range. The pour is pale amber with fine natural carbonation. On the nose it is gentle: soft peach, a little honeyed, with the familiar sour note of kombucha underneath. On the palate the peach sits in the mid-range of ripeness, carried through a backbone of clean fermented tea tartness. The overall effect is light and rounded. The finish is clean and slightly sweet, fading to a dry tea note. A limited edition product. It is well-suited to drinkers who want a kombucha that is recognisably fermented but not aggressively so.
