Pierre Zéro Lemon Spritz takes the dealcoholised white wine base of the standard Spritz and builds a lemon-driven aperitif on top. A low-temperature vacuum distillation process is used to preserve the aromatic character of the base wine before the lemon and botanical flavourings are added. It pours pale yellow with thin, lively bubbles. The nose is led by fresh citrus, with lemon zest upfront and a floral, herbal lift behind it. The palate follows through with bright lemon and a light bitterness, landing on the cleaner, citrus-driven end of the aperitif spectrum compared to the more bitter-orange Spritz. The finish is clean rather than cloying.
