Made from 100% South Australian Pinot Grigio, alcohol is removed after fermentation and grape seed extract is added for natural antioxidants and a little more body. No artificial sweeteners are used. The nose is lightly floral, pear and crisp apple up front with a fresh citrus edge. On the palate, melon and yellow apple come through alongside the pear, with soft chamomile in the background. There's a gentle pepper note toward the end that lifts it out of the one-dimensional fruity-white-wine-without-alcohol category. Medium acidity keeps things lively through the glass. It's a light, clean style that won't challenge anyone, but it does what it sets out to do.
