Everything Except Rosé
Dealcoholised rosé from South Australia. Pale salmon pink, dry and fruit-forward, with strawberry and red cherry on the nose and lively acidity through the palate.
About This Drink
Made by South Australian winemakers and dealcoholised using high vacuum low pressure distillation, coming in below 0.5% ABV. The process is gentler than heat-based methods, which helps preserve the fruit character that makes rosé worth drinking in the first place. The nose has ripe strawberry and red cherry, with a faint warm spice in the background that adds a bit of interest. On the palate it is dry, with the fruit sitting up front, balanced by a cleansing acidity that stops it feeling heavy or cloying. It is medium-bodied for a dealcoholised rosé, which is to say slightly fuller than you might expect. The finish is dry and short. A competent example of the style.
