Same base as Treeninglaager but with lemon juice, citric acid and natural lemon flavours added, pushing the profile firmly into citrus territory. It pours a clear pale yellow with a finger-thick white head. The nose is bright and clean, sweet-and-sour lemon peel with a simple, honest brightness. On the palate, lemony acidity cuts through a malt sweetness and keeps things crisp and light. At 20 IBU the bitterness is modest. The finish is long, the lemon acidity carrying through without becoming sharp. It's simpler than the original Treeninglaager and more overtly fruity. The sports drink concept is still there, but the lemon flavour gives it a broader appeal as a straightforward cold lager. Contains lactose and barley.
