Brasserie Meteor has been brewing in Hochfelden in Alsace since 1640. The Sans Alcool is their non-alcoholic lager, sitting at under 0.5% ABV and brewed to the same malt-forward principles as the rest of the range. The beer pours golden at 10 EBC. Pure cereal notes lead on the nose, with a clean, biscuity quality. The palate is fine and balanced: light bitterness at 14 IBU, a touch of sweetness, and discreet honey notes from the malt. Carbonation is lively without being aggressive. Uncomplicated and straightforward. It does what a good lager should, without fuss.
