About This Drink
Implosion Lager keeps things straightforward: a flavour-neutral non-alcoholic yeast from Lallemand, German Tradition and Spalter Select hops, and no dealcoholisation step. The result is clean and dry, closer to a Czech or German-style pilsner in character than most alcohol-free lagers in the same price bracket. The aroma is restrained, light grain and a hint of fresh hay with faint floral notes from the hops. On the palate there's soft malt sweetness upfront, then a gentle herbal bitterness that carries it to a short, crisp finish. At 1.7g sugar per 100ml it drinks drier than the category average. Pours pale straw. Best served well chilled.
