The malt base is sweet and biscuity with some toasted grain, which balances the hop bitterness rather than fighting it. The citrus notes lean towards lemon and mandarin rather than the harder grapefruit you get in some IPAs. Let it warm slightly from the fridge and the tropical fruit notes (passionfruit, apricot, peach) become more pronounced. The finish is clean with a gentle lingering bitterness.
