Brothers Tom and Chris Hannaway launched Infinite Session in 2017 from Hackney Wick, the creative corner of East London known for its breweries and warehouse studios. Their starting point was simple frustration. The alcohol-free beers available at the time were afterthoughts: thin, flavourless, brewed by companies who clearly did not care about the category.

Infinite Session set out to prove that low-alcohol beer could be genuinely good. Their approach involves brewing to strength from the start, using the same ingredients and techniques as regular craft beer but designing recipes specifically for the 0.5% ABV target. Nothing gets removed or cooked off. The result is beer with proper body and hop character.

Their core range stays tight. The IPA leads with tropical and citrus hops, delivering the juicy, resinous punch that style demands. The Pale takes a lighter path with fresh, fruit-forward notes. For those wanting something more substantial, the Double Pale in larger 440ml cans offers a double dry-hopped version with extra depth. They have also introduced a mid-strength IPA at 2.8% for drinkers who want a touch more.

All their beers are brewed with an enzyme that reduces gluten to below 20ppm, making them suitable for coeliacs. Given how many AF options overlook this, it is a welcome detail.

Infinite Session has built a solid reputation in the UK alcohol-free scene. Their beers consistently perform well at international competitions, often judged blind against full-strength entries, and they have a loyal following that reflects real repeat custom rather than novelty purchases.

You will find Infinite Session in Tesco and Sainsbury's, plus the usual online AF specialists. They also ship direct from their website with free delivery on larger orders.
