The Brombach family has owned the brewery since 1935, when Franz Brombach took over what was then a small regional operation. They remain privately owned and brew exclusively in their Bavarian hometown.

Erdinger Alkoholfrei comes in at under 0.5% ABV and delivers the classic wheat beer character the brewery is known for.
