The botanicals here go beyond the usual juniper-and-citrus setup. Rosemary and cucumber push things in a more garden-herb direction, while cardamom and allspice add a warm, slightly spiced undertone. The production method is worth noting: rather than relying on flavour extracts, The Duchess re-distils the botanicals, which gives the aroma more structure than you typically get from a tinned AF G&T. It comes out dry and fairly light on the palate, with a clean finish. There's not much sweetness to speak of, which suits it well as a G&T alternative. Serve it cold, straight from the can or over ice.
