Miami Grove Hazy Pale Ale
Alcohol-free hazy pale ale from Hamburg, brewed with oat malt alongside barley for a soft body and strong tropical hop character — pineapple and coconut up front, pink grapefruit behind.
About This Drink
Miami Grove is Kehrwieder's take on the hazy pale ale, originally released as Coconut Grove before being rebranded in mid-2024. The oat malt in the grain bill gives it a noticeably softer texture than most AF pale ales, and the hop choice — varieties that push tropical rather than resinous — means bitterness is kept to a minimum. The aroma is generous: pineapple juice and fresh coconut come through immediately, with pink grapefruit adding zest. On the palate it drinks closer to a New England-style pale ale than anything particularly British, with soft malt sweetness and very little in the way of hop bite. The finish is clean and tropical. At 27 kcal per 100ml it is one of the lighter options in Kehrwieder's range. If you like your pale ales without the bitterness, this is a solid choice.
