Winter Ale
A 0.4% Belgian-style winter ale: darker and richer than the rest of the range, with toffee, dried fruit and warm spice.
About This Drink
Force Majeure Winter Ale is the seasonal one: a darker beer built for colder months in the Belgian winter ale tradition. It pours deep amber to brown with a tan head, and warm spice notes come through on the nose alongside caramel and dark malt. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with toffee, dried fruit and gentle spice carrying through to a clean, malt-forward finish. It does not linger heavily: the finish softens out without becoming cloying. At 0.4% ABV and best served at 10–12°C, it suits the same occasions as its alcoholic counterparts: slow evenings, hearty food, anything that calls for something a bit more considered than a pale lager.
