The Cheeky IPA is a collab between Heaps Normal and eco toilet paper brand Who Gives a Crap, with $1.50 from every can going to WaterAid. Made with water, malt, hops, and yeast only. It pours amber with a white head. Pine resin leads on the nose, with a hint of citrus peel over a clean malt base. On the palate, the bitterness is upfront and stays put throughout. The hop character is assertive and resinous without turning harsh, and the malt base keeps it from feeling thin. The finish is dry and crisp, with the hop character fading gradually. Low gluten and vegan. A West Coast-style IPA that doesn't soften things for the AF crowd.
