Bavaria 0.0% Pineapple Malt follows the same formula as the rest of the brand's flavoured range: an alcohol-free malt base with distinct fruit flavouring layered on top. Pineapple gives this one slightly more edge than the peach or strawberry variants. The nose is juicy and tropical, with the characteristic tartness of pineapple coming through alongside the sweetness. On the palate there's a tangy, slightly acidic quality that gives it more freshness than some of the softer stone fruit options. The malt base adds mild grain sweetness and fills out the body without pulling attention from the fruit. The finish is fruity and clean, with pineapple giving way to a soft malt fade. One of the livelier options in the Bavaria flavoured lineup. Serve cold.
