About This Drink
Bavaria's 0.0% Fruity Rosé sits at the softer, sweeter end of the brand's flavoured range. It's built on the same alcohol-free malt base as the Original but you wouldn't know it: the red fruit flavouring takes over almost completely, pushing this into shandy territory. It pours a pale pink-rose with light carbonation. On the nose, raspberry and cherry come forward first, with a softer blueberry note underneath. The palate follows suit: sweet, berry-dominant, with the malt contributing body rather than flavour. There's no bitterness and very little grain character. The finish is short and sweet, with berry fruit hanging around briefly. It's an easy option if you want something cold and fruity that happens to come in a can. Not a beer drinker's beer, but that's clearly not the point.
