Sentia Cask leans into wood and warmth. The nose is oak and vanilla, neither harsh nor particularly complex, but clean and recognisable as pointing at whisky territory. On the palate, oak and vanilla lead with light smoke and a spiced warmth that builds gradually, supported by agave sweetness that keeps the whole thing from being too austere. The body is on the light side, closer to a botanical spirit than the weight of a real whisky, which is worth being clear about. It's not trying to replicate a dram exactly; it's a 0.5% oak-and-herb drink that works on similar occasions. The finish is the strongest element: dry, spiced, and slow to fade in a way that gives it more presence than the body alone would suggest. Neat over ice is the obvious serve; a long pour with soda works too.
