About This Drink
Made from Chardonnay and Xarel-lo grapes before the alcohol is removed using low-temperature vacuum distillation. The rosé colour and red fruit character suggest some skin contact in the base wine, though the production notes don't confirm that detail. It pours a pale cherry-pink with salmon tones and fine persistent bubbles. The nose is straightforward: fresh strawberry and red cherry with a hint of green apple. On the palate it's light, gently sweet, with clean acidity keeping things balanced. The fruit character is true to the nose without being jammy. The finish is brief with a faint citrus edge. Straightforward drinking for a dealcoholised sparkling rosé.
