About This Drink

The grapes come from Sicily, where the warm climate pushes citrus and stone fruit forward in the Pinot Grigio variety. Alcohol is removed by vacuum distillation at low temperature, which tends to preserve the lighter, more volatile aromas that would otherwise be lost. In the glass it's pale straw. The nose has tropical fruit and citrus peel with a faint floral note behind it. On the palate it's light and lively, with green apple and a lemon-zest edge. The finish is short and clean. At 20 calories per 100ml it's among the lighter options in the dealcoholised wine category. Serve it cold. The fruit-forward character is the main attraction rather than any depth or complexity, which keeps it approachable.
