About This Drink
Cognato's Chenin Blanc is made from hand-picked grapes from the Coastal Region of the Western Cape, with the alcohol removed via vacuum spinning cone. Below 0.5% ABV and Fairtrade certified. On the nose it's bright and direct: fresh lemon, green apple, and a note of cut grass. The palate is light and dry, with citrus leading and clean acidity running through it. There's nothing heavy or sweet here — it stays on the leaner, crisper side of what dealcoholised white wine can do. The finish is short and dry. If you find a lot of alcohol-free whites tend towards sweetness or dilution, this one is worth a try.
