About This Drink
Stiegl Radler 0,0% Zitrone follows the Austrian radler tradition of mixing beer with citrus-based lemonade. Here, alcohol-free lager meets a blend of lemon juice concentrate, orange juice and grapefruit juice. The cloudiness is natural, not from yeast but from the juice itself. It pours hazy straw-gold with a fleeting white head. The aroma is bright citrus: fresh lemon peel at the front, a hint of orange blossom, and a faint grapefruit note underneath. The malt stays in the background. On the palate, crisp lemon tartness leads, softened slightly by a mild malt sweetness from the beer base, with the carbonation keeping things lively and clean. The finish is short and dry, trailing off with citrus peel and a gentle acidity. It's a straightforward drink: no pretension, nothing complicated. Works well cold on a warm day or alongside something light.
