Created to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Omnipollos Hatt, Omnipollo's first Stockholm taproom, this IPA adapts the original Hatt recipe to 0.5% ABV while keeping hop expression front and centre. It's brewed at Omnipollos kyrka in Sundbyberg. The hop bill is Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka: three varieties that together cover tropical fruit, citrus, and a distinctive New Zealand-influenced white grape and gooseberry character. The aroma is vibrant, with citrus peel, tropical fruit, floral hops and soft malt in the background. On the palate the clean malt backbone holds things together without sweetness pulling focus. The bitterness is moderate and well-integrated. The finish is crisp and dry, with lingering citrus and floral hop character. A hop-forward, structured non-alcoholic IPA that avoids the sweetness that undermines a lot of the style. It behaves like a proper beer.
