Le Spritz Ghia-Soda is the Original Apéritif in portable form. The concentrate has been mixed at the correct 1:3 ratio with sparkling water and canned. The flavour profile is identical to what you'd build yourself at home. Over ice it smells of citrus peel, dried herbs and a faint floral note from the elderflower. Yuzu and lemon balm open the palate with a light tartness; the gentian bitterness arrives cleanly in the mid-palate, and the finish is dry and savoury with a faint hint of rosemary. It's a faithful reproduction of the concentrate drink and genuinely more convenient than carrying a bottle. A rosemary sprig and a twist of yuzu peel are the recommended garnish, though it's fine straight from the can.
