Where the cocktail uses ginger beer for its carbonated, prickly heat, this uses ginger root extract alongside lemon juice concentrate and a light apple extract. The nitrogen widget gives the smooth, non-carbonated pour that runs across the NITRO Mocktails range. Lemon peel and fresh ginger come through on the nose together. On the palate, the lemon is sharp and bright, with a quiet apple note underneath that rounds the edges. Then the ginger builds, starting mild and rising steadily into a proper fiery kick that carries through the finish. It doesn't apologise for that heat. The finish is clean and citrusy, with the ginger warmth holding on.
