About This Drink
Clausthaler Grapefruit follows the radler formula: half the brand's original non-alcoholic lager, half a grapefruit drink made with juice from concentrate. The Clausthaler base brings clean malt and subtle hop bitterness; the grapefruit side adds tartness, a touch of sweetness, and the lift you'd expect from citrus zest. The balance between the two is well-judged rather than one side drowning out the other. It pours a light orangey-pink. On the nose, fresh grapefruit with a hint of orange peel. The taste is bittersweet, with citrus and gentle malt working in parallel. The finish is short and clean. At 28 kcal per 100ml it's a low-calorie option with more fruit-forward character than the Original.
