Kingston Golden Pils is a lager-style beer built around Vienna malt, which gives it more depth than a standard pale pilsner. There's toasted bread and biscuit on the nose alongside herbal and grassy hop notes. On the palate, the malt character is the main event, with a moderate bitterness that keeps it from being too soft. The finish is crisp and clean. Like the rest of BERO's range, it uses a maltose-negative yeast rather than dealcoholisation, so the fermentation process is doing the work rather than stripping alcohol out afterwards. It pours a deep golden with a soft white head and sits comfortably in the session lager zone.
