English Garden
An alcohol-free spirit alternative in the style of a British summer fruit cup, built around cucumber, mint, strawberry and apple.

English Garden is ANON's Pimm's equivalent: a long-drink mixer with fresh fruit and herb flavours designed to be poured over ice and topped up. It's not really a sipping spirit, and it doesn't try to be. The nose is immediately summery. Fresh mint comes first, then a lightly stewed strawberry note and a hint of cucumber, the combination that makes this style immediately recognisable. On the palate it's lighter than ANON's other bottles, with a crisp, fruit-forward sweetness, a touch of orange citrus and a gentle herbal lift. The finish is clean, with a mint fade rather than any lingering bitterness. Load a tall glass with ice, pour generously, top with tonic or lemonade and add a sprig of mint. Sliced strawberry or a wheel of orange works as garnish. It also takes well to elderflower presse if you want something a touch more floral. It sits comfortably in the garden party category: low fuss, easy to make, and recognisable enough that no one needs much explanation.
