The full lager is brewed first, then dealcoholised at the Rome brewery. That order of operations matters: you get a proper cereal grain base and some genuine hop character rather than the thin, watery result you get from beers brewed to low ABV from the start. In the glass it's pale straw, light-bodied, with lemon and a mild malt sweetness up front. The finish is clean and quick. It doesn't linger, which for a lager isn't a criticism. This is a sessionable, crowd-pleasing format that does what it says. It's one of the more visible AF lagers in the UK, stocked widely in supermarkets and popping up in restaurants and bars that carry only one or two alcohol-free options. Not the most complex thing you'll drink, but reliable and easy to order anywhere.
