About This Drink

The grape juice gets dealcoholised using both vacuum distillation and reverse osmosis, two techniques that work at low temperatures to pull out the alcohol without cooking off the aromatics. The result is reasonably fragrant for an AF sparkling wine. There's white blossom and honeysuckle on the nose, with some dried apricot giving it a bit of warmth. On the palate it skews tart rather than sweet. Green apple and kiwi come through alongside unripened pear, and the mouthfeel is creamier than you might expect from a sparkling wine. The finish is dry with a slight sharpness that keeps it from tipping into juice territory. A decent option if you want something with more complexity than standard sparkling grape.
