Turmeric is a strong flavour to build a kombucha around, and MOMO use it confidently. The earthiness comes through clearly, with a mild warmth that builds as you drink. The pineapple juice adds a tropical note and softens what could otherwise be a quite austere combination, without turning it fruity. Brewed in 10-litre glass jars at MOMO's London microbrewery, raw, unpasteurised and unfiltered. The mouthfeel is light and the carbonation lively, which helps lift a flavour profile that might otherwise feel heavy. Worth trying if you lean towards earthy, savoury drinks rather than sweet ones.
