Shiraz
Dealcoholised Australian Shiraz with a rich, dark fruit character and enough body to stand up to food.

McGuigan Zero Shiraz comes from South Eastern Australia and goes through spinning cone dealcoholisation, which removes the alcohol at low temperatures. The theory is that the fruit flavours survive better this way than with heat-based methods, and in this case there's something to it. It pours deep red and leads with plum and forest berry on the nose, alongside some spice and a faint meaty quality that's actually quite Shiraz-like. The palate is fuller and richer than most dealcoholised reds manage, with blackcurrant and a round, balanced finish. It still has the slightly sweet, jammy quality that comes with the territory, but the body is there. Vegan-friendly and gluten-free.
Ingredients
