Sauvignon Blanc
Dealcoholised Sauvignon Blanc from Australia, using spinning cone technology to remove the alcohol while keeping the fruit intact.

The Zero range is McGuigan's dealcoholised wine line, and this Sauvignon Blanc is probably its most convincing entry. Spinning cone technology draws the alcohol out at low temperatures, which is about as gentle as dealcoholisation gets and goes some way to explaining why the fruit character survives. Pale straw in the glass, it has the grassy, gooseberry-and-passionfruit profile you'd expect from the variety. Lime comes through too, and the palate has a zippy, light quality rather than the flat sweetness that can plague dealcoholised whites. The finish is crisp and clean. It won't pass for a glass of actual Sauvignon Blanc, but it's in the right postcode, which is more than many can say. Vegan-friendly and gluten-free, at 0.0% ABV.
