Hoegaarden 0.0
Alcohol-free take on the classic Belgian witbier, brewed with coriander seeds and orange peel in the original recipe.

Hoegaarden 0.0 goes through bottle fermentation before the alcohol is removed, which gives it more character than a witbier simply brewed to low ABV. The result pours cloudy golden with a decent white head and smells like it should: citrus, a herbal edge, gentle spice. On the palate, the coriander and orange peel are clearly present but neither dominates. There's a soft biscuity wheat base underneath, with a faint banana and bubblegum note that's typical of the style and a light creaminess that keeps it from feeling thin. The finish is on the sweet side, without much bitterness to balance it. It's a straightforward AF witbier. The bottle fermentation step does seem to help the body, and if you're used to the alcoholic Hoegaarden it's a recognisable approximation rather than a pale imitation.
