Pours clear amber-gold with a white head. The aroma is citrusy and tropical - fresh citrus peel, lychee and a thread of pine resin underneath. On the palate, grapefruit pith and mango lead, with a light biscuit malt base providing some ballast. The bitterness is present but not aggressive, finishing dry and clean with lingering citrus peel. For a 0.5% beer the hop character holds up well. That Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe combination tends to be reliable for this - they bring enough aromatics to carry the lighter body without feeling thin.
