Spiced Cane is ANON's take on spiced rum: a sugarcane-based alcohol-free spirit designed to work wherever you'd reach for a Captain Morgan or Sailor Jerry. The flavour profile leans into the classic spiced rum territory of vanilla, cinnamon and ginger, with a citrus note and a caramel-molasses sweetness underneath. The nose is vanilla-forward with warm baking spice and a faint citrus lift. On the palate, ginger gives the most pronounced character, sitting alongside vanilla and cinnamon in a reasonably sweet, smooth body. It's warming without being sharp. At 9 calories per 100ml it's lighter than many alternatives in this category. It works well in a tall glass over ice with cola or ginger beer, where the spiced notes play off the mixer. A squeeze of lime adds some freshness. It's not going to convince anyone it's alcoholic rum, but as a mixer in a dark and stormy or spiced rum and cola it holds its own.
