It pours pale salmon pink with fine carbonation that holds well. The nose is simple and fruit-forward: fresh strawberry and raspberry, with a soft sweetness that carries straight through to the palate. Red berry is the dominant flavour, the mouthfeel is light, and the finish is clean. It sits on the sweeter side of the alcohol-free sparkling spectrum, which makes it an easy crowd-pleaser rather than anything particularly complex. The alcohol is removed by vacuum distillation, which generally preserves more of the wine's character than heat-based methods. For a canned format it drinks reasonably well.
