Dealcoholised sparkling rosé from Catalonia's Penedès, made from Grenache, Trepat and Pinot Noir, with strawberry and raspberry fruit and a clean, persistent finish.

About This Drink

Vallformosa's 0,0 Rosé draws on three red grape varieties: Garnacha (Grenache), Trepat and Pinot Noir, grown in the Penedès region. The base rosé wine is dealcoholised by low-temperature vacuum distillation, which keeps the fruit aromas largely intact through the process. Concentrated grape must goes back in to restore the flavour balance before carbonation and isobaric bottling, which locks in the fine bubble structure. The colour is pale cherry with pink and violet tones. The nose arrives quickly: strawberry, raspberry and cherry, clean and direct without much complexity behind them. On the palate the entry is smooth with a slightly luscious texture, the carbonation lively without being aggressive. Red fruit runs through the mid-palate, lifted by a thread of bright acidity. The finish is gentle and lingers a little.
