About This Drink
Tempranillo is better known as a red wine grape, so it is an interesting choice for rosé, but the variety carries its red fruit character well into a lighter format. Vinada grow theirs in La Mancha and dealcoholise by vacuum extraction, keeping the natural aromas from the ferment. The colour is a soft, clear pink. Strawberries and raspberries come through on the nose with a light floral note underneath, a suggestion of rose petals without being perfumed. On the palate it is fresh and light, with a smooth acidity that keeps things balanced. The texture is clean and the finish fades gently without any hard edges. It sits alongside the Tinteling Tempranillo Rosé in the range but trades the bubbles for a quieter, more composed character. Good for those who prefer still wine.
