Scotland's largest sour beer producer and a dedicated AF-only brewery teaming up was always going to produce something fruit-forward. The mixed fermentation base here is conditioned on Sicilian lemon juice, zest, and fresh orange juice, then dry hopped with Krush T90 and Azacca Cryo. It pours hazy pale gold with a fresh citrus aroma: lemon curd, orange zest, and tropical notes from the Azacca. The palate leads with clean, punchy tartness and bright lemon, with the hop additions bringing mango and papaya character that keeps it feeling juicy. Oats in the grain bill give the body some softness, which rounds out the acidity without dulling it. The finish is dry and citrus-edged.
