About This Drink
Brewed from black and green tea with a SCOBY culture, then blended with natural passionfruit flavour. The fermentation provides tartness and live cultures; erythritol and stevia replace most of the sugar, so very little remains. It pours pale amber-gold, lightly hazy, with fine persistent carbonation. The aroma opens with a pronounced tropical passionfruit note, floral and a little sharp, with the vinegary undercurrent of the kombucha sitting beneath. On the palate it is tart-forward, the natural acidity of passionfruit reinforcing the kombucha ferment. Sweetness is light, which stops the tartness tipping into harshness. A straightforward single-fruit kombucha with a punchy, clean character.
