About This Drink

Lo Bros Cola rebuilds a cola from a fermented kombucha base rather than a syrup concentrate. Black and green tea are brewed with a SCOBY culture, then infused with warming botanicals including cassia, ginger, nutmeg, and citrus peel. A touch of burnt sugar provides the characteristic caramel depth. Erythritol and stevia stand in for conventional sweetener. It pours deep amber-brown, clear rather than hazy. The aroma carries cola spice, cinnamon, and a citrus sharpness, with the faint kombucha vinegar note underneath. On the palate it reads as cola: cassia and caramel upfront, orange and lemon peel in the middle, then a dry kombucha tartness cutting through the back end. The spice depth feels genuine rather than synthetic. Works as a standalone soft drink over ice or as a mixer.
