About This Drink
Carl Jung Bio Mousseux Dry Sekt is the brand's certified organic sparkling wine, made from a blend of Rivaner and Riesling grapes grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Alcohol is removed using the brand's low-temperature vacuum process, which has been in use for over a century. The nose is fresh and fruity: green apple, quince and ripe pear. On the palate it is crisp and clean with good carbonation, dry enough that the fruit comes through without sweetness taking over. The finish is short and refreshing. The Riesling component gives it some of the aromatic lift and acidity you would expect from a Rhine wine, and the organic certification distinguishes it from the standard Mousseux Sekt.
