About This Drink
Free Damm Lemon is a radler built on the standard Free Damm base: the 0.0% lager gets mixed with a citrus-flavoured carbonated drink at around 70% beer to 30% soft drink. The production process is the same vacuum distillation used across the Free Damm range, with the citrus component blended in afterwards. The aroma has grassy hops and light malt underneath a clean lemon note that isn't overly synthetic. On the palate, lemon is the main character: bright and fairly sharp, with the grainy lager base keeping it from veering into cordial territory. It's lively and fizzy, finishes dry, and carries a light bitterness. A straightforward low-ABV option for warm weather. If you find straight 0.0% lagers a bit flat in flavour, this adds enough citrus lift to keep things interesting.
