Pink Grapefruit & Guava puts two fairly punchy tropical and citrus flavours together and lets the kombucha acidity sharpen them further. The grapefruit brings bitterness; the guava brings a softer, tropical sweetness. Hibiscus, rosehip, honeybush and nettle sit in the background and contribute to both the colour and a faint floral astringency. On the nose it is citrus-led and bright. The palate has the characteristic sharp, sour edge of kombucha with the fruit layered on top. The finish is tangy and lingers a little. It is not subtle. One of the bolder options in the Equinox range. Brewed in West Yorkshire with organic ingredients, raw, vegan and gluten-free.
