About This Drink
Made from hand-picked Western Cape grapes and dealcoholised by vacuum spinning cone, Cognato's Rosé sits below 0.5% ABV with Fairtrade certification. The nose is clean and fruit-forward: ripe strawberry with a squeeze of citrus and a faint herbal note. On the palate it stays light and fresh, with the strawberry character carrying through alongside a gentle acidity. The flavours are restrained rather than bold — this isn't a jammy or sweetened rosé, and at 1.9g sugar per 100ml it lands on the drier end of the spectrum. The finish is short and dry. It doesn't over-deliver, but that's not a criticism — the balance is decent and it holds its own as a poured glass.
