Blanc de Blancs
Zero-alcohol sparkling white from South Australia, blending Chardonnay, Semillon and Colombard with fine persistent bubbles and a clean citrus finish.
About This Drink
Plus & Minus Blanc de Blancs is dealcoholised after fermentation, then finished with grape seed extract for body and antioxidants. The winemaker is Corey Ryan. No artificial sweeteners are used. It pours pale straw with fine, persistent bubbles. Citrus and green apple come through clearly on the nose, with a light floral edge. The palate is medium-bodied for a sparkling wine, carrying that apple and citrus character through to a touch of sweet fruit on the mid-palate. The finish is clean and crisp, with a lick of acidity that keeps it from feeling flat. It sits comfortably alongside other South Australian zero-alcohol sparklings but holds its own as a straightforward, food-friendly pour.
