Everything Except Pinot Grigio
Dealcoholised Pinot Grigio made from Victorian and South Australian grapes. Pale straw, dry and crisp, with pear and green apple and a short citrus finish.
About This Drink
The grapes come from vineyards across Victoria and South Australia, and the wine is dealcoholised using high vacuum low pressure distillation. At that low temperature, the alcohol comes off without cooking the fruit character away, which is why it still tastes like Pinot Grigio rather than grape juice. The nose is clean and light: fresh pear, sliced green apple, a hint of citrus blossom. On the palate it is dry and crisp, with simple fruit-forward freshness and enough acidity to keep it from feeling flat. The finish is short and clean. At 0.5% ABV or less, it fits comfortably in the same occasion as the alcoholic original - a weeknight pour, something light with food, or when you want a glass of white in hand without committing to a full bottle.
