Giesen 0% Chardonnay follows the same process as the rest of the range: the wine is fully fermented and oak-aged first, then spinning cone technology strips out the aromas and alcohol separately before recombining them without the alcohol. At 10 calories per 100ml it is one of the lightest in the range, though it still carries Chardonnay's characteristic weight and structure. The bouquet leads with orange and lemon zest alongside stone fruit, with French oak sitting in the background without overwhelming. On the palate it is zesty and fresh, with creamy vanilla threading through the mid-palate and a silky, slightly buttery finish. The toasty oak note is subtle rather than dominant. For a dealcoholised white wine it handles the process well. The spinning cone method is better at preserving aromatic complexity than heat-based dealcoholisation, and you can taste the difference here.
