Black Isle Brewery has been brewing certified organic beer from the Scottish Highlands since the 1990s. The Halo Lager brings that same approach to the alcohol-free category, using organic malted barley, wheat and hops with no artificial additives. Certified vegan, 0.3% ABV. It pours pale straw and looks the part. The aroma is grassy and lightly mineral, with a subdued freshness that reads as clean rather than complex.
